The main body of the self-cleaning filter is composed of components such as the main pipeline, filter screen, motor, steel brush, and industrial control cabinet. The entire process is divided into two steps: filtration and cleaning. When the source water passes through the main pipeline, solid impurities will be intercepted by the filter screen placed inside, achieving the purpose of cleaning the liquid, which is the filtration process.

When solid impurities in the liquid continuously deposit on the filter screen, it reduces the space for liquid circulation, resulting in a pressure difference between the front and rear ends of the filter screen. When the data measured by the pressure monitoring device on the device reaches the set value, the control system will start the motor to rotate, thereby driving the steel brush to clean the filter screen. At this time, the sewage outlet will also be automatically opened to allow the cleaned impurities and solids to flow out of the outlet, achieving the purpose of cleaning the equipment and restoring the filter's filtering ability. The entire cleaning process is very fast, taking only ten seconds and will not affect the backend water supply. It is also possible to set the time to allow the equipment to be cleaned during the low peak water usage period.

The main difference between self-cleaning filters and other filters is that they are equipped with motors and steel brushes to automatically clean the filter. At the same time, it is equipped with a control system to start the motor at the appropriate time and drive the electric brush to clean the filter screen. The drive shaft of the motor reducer is equipped with a positioning device, and the positioning sensor in the positioning device corresponds to each filtering element. When the positioning sensor senses the corresponding positioning point, it sends a signal to stop the motor from rotating and start the backwash process. The backwash valve is opened for a few seconds to flush out the solid impurities brushed off from the equipment.
